Your Mooiev Profile: Everything You Can Add
A complete tour of the Mooiev profile — photos, reel, featured work, rates, availability and the role-specific modules — so your page works as a real portfolio.
How profile editing works
Open your profile at mooiev.com/u/your-handle and switch to edit mode. Almost everything edits in place — click the text or hover the photo. Modules are automatic: while editing you see every section relevant to your role so you can fill it in; visitors only ever see sections that actually have content. An empty section is simply invisible — your profile never looks half-finished.
The essentials
- Name — click the large name at the top to edit first and last name
- Custom URL — click "mooiev.com/u/yourhandle" to choose your own slug
- Headline — one line under your name, e.g. "Director of Photography — narrative & commercial"
- City & region — how people hiring locally find you
- Professions — pick a primary role, add secondary "also does" roles, or type custom ones
- Specialties — a comma-separated line under your name (e.g. "Indie narrative, Music videos")
- Good to know — pronouns, spoken languages, education/training
- Bio — up to 600 characters, in your own words
Photos & reel
- Profile photo — hover it in edit mode to replace; a sharp HD version is generated automatically
- Cover banner — a wide image across the top of the page
- Featured reel — paste a Vimeo or YouTube link with an optional label; it plays as a large video banner
- Headshots grid — labeled portrait photos (Headshot / Body / Profile / Smile / Editorial)
- Gallery — multiple named photo albums with captions, a starred cover per album, and a full-screen lightbox for visitors
Your work
- Featured work — up to 30 entries: cover image, title, type, role, production, year, link and a one-line synopsis
- Every entry gets its own public page, where you can add a poster, a backdrop, cast & crew names and a photo gallery
- Projects you wrap on Mooiev and verified production credits join the same grid automatically, with a gold MOOIEV badge
Rates & availability
- Availability — Available / Booked / Not taking work, plus an "available from" date
- Day rate — amount and currency, with a "show on public profile" toggle; switched off, it stays private
- Collaboration rates (creators) — rate cards with a starting price; leave the price empty and visitors see "on request"
Role-specific modules
- Gaffers & sound: an owned-gear list (categories and quantities) plus a standing-crew note
- Writers: available material — spec scripts with format, genre, page count, status and logline
- Creators: audience metrics per platform (followers, engagement, breakdowns) and content categories
- Representation — agency and agent details; left blank, visitors see "Independent · self-represented"
- Brands: a dedicated editor for company name, tagline, industry, logo, cover and description
Links, export & findability
Add your IMDb, Instagram and website links so visitors can verify you elsewhere. From view mode you can export the profile as a portfolio PDF, choosing exactly which sections and photos to include. And because your name, role and city sit in the page title and headline, your profile is built to be found for the searches that matter: your name, your role, your city.
