Original Mooiev project overview for the fictional AFTER THE TIDE sample film
Original Mooiev interface. AFTER THE TIDE is a fictional demonstration project.

01 / THE WORKFLOW

Start with the scene, then choose the work it needs

Write a screenplay with scene, action, character and dialogue elements, or review an imported draft before planning the coverage. A useful first project can be a single scene; you can choose the tools relevant to it rather than complete every module.

Keep a treatment and the project brief beside the script. An episode-based project can use its own working context; check which collaborators need access before sharing future material.

02 / THE WORKFLOW

Make the visual intention discussable

Use World to collect character, location, costume and prop references, and keep the scene’s look with its coverage. Write a shot list that states the size, angle, movement and dramatic purpose of each shot.

Storyboard frames help the team discuss the sequence. AI-generated references still need a continuity review for faces, eyelines, screen direction, recurring objects and light.

03 / THE WORKFLOW

Turn the scene into a practical shoot day

Review the breakdown, cast days, equipment and location needs before arranging the shoot. A schedule needs room for setup, resets, travel and breaks; it is not simply the duration of the final film.

Use a budget to review quantities and rates, and a call sheet to communicate the approved day. Read the exported document on the devices your crew will use.

04 / THE WORKFLOW

Find people and show what you contributed

Explore collaborators through their roles and selected work, then introduce the project, location, likely dates and responsibilities. Availability and working terms still need a direct conversation.

Inside a project, crew roles, comments and activity provide context for decisions. When the work can be shared, a portfolio should name your actual contribution and use material you have permission to publish.

Before you start

Can I begin with a short film or one scene?

Yes. Choose the project tools relevant to the work and add detail as the plan develops. A complete project requires signing in.

Are the sample crew and projects real production credits?

The product demonstrations use a fictional sample film and illustrative collaborators. They are examples of the workflow, not customer endorsements or guaranteed jobs.
