Messages & Connections on Mooiev

Connections are mutual — and unlimited

Search people by name or @handle from the Connections page, or invite by email. The other person accepts or declines; once accepted, either side can message the other. There are no seat limits on any plan — your network is unlimited. Project invitations also land here: when a production adds you to its crew, you accept or decline it from the same page.

Direct messages

• Message any connection from their profile or connection row — "Message" opens the thread
• A two-pane inbox: your conversations on the left, the open thread on the right
• Unread counts per thread, delivered in real time, marked read when you open them
• Built desktop-first — messaging lives in the web app

The feed: wrap, hire, ask

• Three kinds of posts: Wrap (share finished work), Hire (post an open role), Ask (a question to the community)
• Like, comment and save posts; @mention someone and they get notified
• Posting needs a public profile with a handle — the app tells you if yours is not ready
• You can delete your own posts and comments, and moderate comments on your own posts

Notifications

The bell in the top bar covers likes, comments, mentions, connection requests, applications to your roles, task assignments, project invitations and new messages — each notification routes to the right place when clicked.

Safety: report & block

Every post, comment and profile carries a report option (the ⋯ menu, or the Report link under a comment). Blocking someone hides your content from each other in both directions, severs the connection and stops direct messages. Both work even on public pages while signed out — you are asked to sign in first.
